What you need to know

So what’s it actually like?

Trying a session is simply a way to see what the training is like.

Most people who come along are new to kettlebells. They’re usually just looking for a sensible way to get a bit stronger, move better and stay active.

Sessions are small and fully coached, so everything is explained clearly and you work at your own pace. There’s no pressure to keep up with anyone else — just a friendly group of people turning up each week to train.

What happens in a session?

We start with a mobility warm-up and then work through simple strength exercises using kettlebells and bodyweight.

Nothing complicated, nothing rushed. The aim is simply to learn the movements and get a feel for the training.

Will I be the only beginner?

Not at all. Most people who come along to try a session have never used kettlebells before. Some haven’t trained for a while and are simply looking for a place where they can start again at their own pace.

Everyone is welcome.

How to book your trial session

Choose your day

Sessions currently run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday mornings.

Choose the day that suits you and select a date in the calendar at the bottom of the page.

Tell us a little about yourself

When you book we’ll ask a couple of quick questions about your training background. That simply helps us make sure the session suits you.

Turn up, try a session and have fun!

Bring comfortable clothes, trainers and a water bottle. Remember we are training on mats, so no shoes are allowed.
